In ancients health science of Ayurveda, everything is built upon 5 elemental energy - air, space, fire, earth and water. Every being is a combination of these elements in the form of doshas.
The Vata dosha is air and ether,
The Pitta dosha is fire and water.
The Kapha dosha is water and earth.

Each dosha has a number of corresponding qualities that are expressed in the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of one’s being.
All of us have some aspects of each dosha, but one or two doshas tend to dominate, informing everything from our digestion to our emotions.
By knowing one's dosha, we can help to determine your predispositions and provide effective actions to correct your imbalances if any.

Yoga
